Artist Statement
Through a creative process that is idiosyncratic, I am guided by gnosis and the synergy between intuition, improvisation and spontaneity to produce works in collage, drawing, painting and sculpture.
Collage in particular is a medium where I am able to reinterpret, repurpose and reuse images from various sources. My process is heavily influenced by hermetic principles which emphasize the interconnectedness of all things.
The use of these found materials pushes a sense of interrelation, creating a dialogue between local and global communities bringing awareness of connectedness beyond perceived boundaries.
